EUROPE, April 9, 2007 – BenQ today announced its consolidated revenue for the month of March.  The company's core business recorded sales of NT$ 10.9 billion, up 30% month-on-month.

"Sales grew in March over most product lines such as LCD monitors and projectors. Unit sales of BenQ's LCD monitors posted strong performance in March, not only hitting a record high in Asia, but also hitting a six-month record high in global sales. Besides, we also saw BenQ's projector strength apparent in China", according to David Wang, Chief Financial Officer and deputy spokesperson of BenQ Corporation.

BenQ has received eight iF Design Awards including one iF Gold Award and six red dot Design Awards in 2007 for its innovative product design and functionality. Furthermore, BenQ projectors outpaced rivals, ranking No.3 in global market share at 7.6% in 2006, according to DTC Worldwide, a leading market research company. “The recognitions gained from these internationally-renowned institutions and strong market share performances have demonstrated again BenQ’s strength in providing world-class design products with excellent quality to consumers around the world.” expressed Mr. Wang.
