The second quarter of 2014 was a memorable period for BenQ as it reached a market share of 20.5%* in the European projector business thus securing a very solid #2 position in Europe, seriously challenging the number one by closing the gap to less than 1%. Strong growth in countries like Germany, The Netherlands, France, Russia, the Nordic region and The United Kingdom has made this success possible.
BenQ 1080p projector sales grew to a stunning 35% market share, compared to 22.6% in Q2 2013. Another noteworthy result was the first ever leading position in the WXGA segment, with a 27% market share.
