EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS, 15 JANUARY 2026 – BenQ, a global leader in education display solutions, today introduced the BenQ Board Pro RP05 and BenQ Board Master RM05 interactive displays. The two all-new series feature a 10 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU) dedicated to AI workloads and BenQ AI, a suite of built-in AI tools designed to help educators create classroom experiences that are engaging, efficient, and conducive to learning.
“AI has enormous potential in education, but only when it is fast, secure, and easy for teachers to use,” said Claire Huang, Senior Director of BenQ’s Cloud Innovation Centre and Display Solutions. “With the RP05 and RM05, we’re delivering true on-device AI performance paired with thoughtfully designed tools, so teachers can focus on what matters, which should always be the student experience.”
10 TOPS NPU: optimised for AI
The BenQ Board Pro RP05 and Master RM05 are currently the only large-sized interactive displays equipped with true NPUs. The integrated 10 TOPS NPU is capable of performing up to ten trillion operations per second on AI workloads, delivering powerful edge AI computing. This on-device capability is critical for functions that demand real-time response, such as image, gesture, and handwriting recognition.
Since AI processing occurs locally rather than relying on cloud servers, the displays also provide enhanced data security for tasks that may involve sensitive information.
Furthermore, compared with competing products without an AI-dedicated NPU, their CPU/GPU-based architectures must expend more computing power when processing AI-related tasks. The result is inferior AI performance and substantially higher energy consumption.
BenQ AI: a comprehensive teaching toolkit
BenQ AI is a suite of AI-powered apps and tools designed to help teachers make learning more effective and enjoyable. Some of the features included are content-summarising tools that help students stay engaged instead of keeping their heads down and taking notes, as well as image generators to visualise lessons. Best of all, the BenQ AI ecosystem continues to expand with new capabilities as student needs continue to evolve. Here are several additions available on the latest interactive displays:
Lasso Search lets teachers circle any image or item on the screen to instantly access curated, relevant information.
Ask AI provides quick answers or in-depth explanations directly on the display, helping teachers respond to questions in real time with no extra apps required.
Circle to Artify transforms simple notes and sketches into lively artwork, featuring three fun and distinctive visual styles.
EZMath converts handwritten formulas, shapes, and diagrams into clean, legible content. It even performs mathematical calculations.

“BenQ AI is designed to feel like a natural extension of the lesson,” added Huang. “By combining on-device intelligence with practical teaching tools, we’re helping educators save time, improve classroom participation, and unlock new ways to fulfil student curiosity.”
AWS: reliable, secure, and scalable
The BenQ Board Pro RP05 and Master RM05 support Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing education institutions with reliable cloud infrastructure, enterprise-grade security, and future scalability.
Schools can deploy the new interactive displays across classrooms, campuses, or the entire school district with confidence, supported by AWS’s reliable cloud-based services. AWS also offers robust security measures and compliance support, including ISO certifications, GDPR readiness, and regional data-protection frameworks. Student and faculty information, lesson content, and usage data are protected under strict security controls, helping schools meet privacy and regulatory requirements.
For IT administrators, AWS enables centralised management, allowing devices to be monitored and managed with ease. It supports automatic cloud-based updates and patching, keeping displays up to date without manual intervention or increased IT workload.
Both of the BenQ Board series are available in 65”, 75”, and 86” models. Visit the RP05 and RM05 product websites for detailed specifications and features.
