The BenQ Ergo Arm BSL/BDL Series is pre-adjusted with optimal tension at the factory to ensure proper functionality when used with BenQ monitors, preventing upward or downward tilting.
If you encounter this issue, it indicates that the tension of the tilting hinge does not match the weight of your monitor. This may occur when using a non-BenQ monitor that is significantly lighter or heavier (the BenQ Ergo Arm supports monitors weighing 2 kg to 11 kg).
To adjust the tension, please use the hex wrench included in the product box to adjust the tilting hinge located on the back of the monitor’s VESA mount.
If your monitor slightly tilts upward or downward, first turn the adjustment toward the “–” direction to position the monitor at your desired angle.
Then turn the adjustment toward the “+” direction to increase the tension and secure the monitor in place.
