Eligibility

1. This promotion is open to those aged 18 and over.
2. Employees or agencies of the Organizer or their family members, or anyone professionally associated with this Promotion and winner selection, may not enter the promotion.
3. Only one (1) base entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed.

Territory

4. The promotion is open to residents of Germany, United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands only.

Fee

5. It is free to participate. No purchase is needed to enter the Promotion.
6. Internet access and an active Instagram account are required. Any costs associated with accessing the internet, including mobile data and network service provider fees, are the sole responsibility of the participant.

How to Participate

7. Each participant should complete the following actions:
   1. Display the official BenQ IFA 2026 banner visibly on your screen.
   2. Share a photo of your cat with your desk setup, ensuring the official BenQ IFA 2026 banner is clearly visible.
   3. Upload the final image onto Instagram, tag @BenQEurope and @BenQLighting, and use the hashtags #MyCatbarHalo2 and #BenQatIFA2026 in the description.
8. Participants may style, arrange, and edit their photo for creativity, provided the banner remains clearly visible.
9. Ensure the account used to submit the entry is set to public for the duration of the Promotion and the draw period so BenQ can view and verify the entry.
10. Entrants may earn additional entries into the draw by including one additional genuine BenQ product visible in their photo, up to a maximum of five (5) total entries per person.

Prize

11. Two (2) winners will be selected after the closure of the entry period. Each winner will receive one (1) BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2. The prize includes delivery costs to an address within the eligible countries listed in Section 4. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Winner Selection

12. Winners will be selected by random draw from among all valid, eligible entries, including bonus entries earned under Section 9, after the entry period closes.
13. Winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram.

Key Dates

14. Participants must complete all actions before 23:59 CEST on 6 September 2026.
15. Winner announcement and notification: 8 September 2026.
16. Response deadline to claim the prize: within five (5) days after the Organizer sends the message notifying the winner via Instagram. For a prize to be validated, the relevant winner will be asked to confirm that their entry meets all requirements set out in Section 1, including that the BenQ IFA 2026 banner is genuinely visible, and to provide a shipping address. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of that prize and the selection of a new winner.

Important Conditions

17. Copyright of the submitted entry is retained by its respective creator. By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Organizer a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and fully paid-up license, with the right to sublicense to its affiliates, to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from the winning entry in any media now known or hereafter developed, for the promotion and marketing of the Organizer’s brand and products perpetually across the Organizer’s social platforms without further compensation or prior approval. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the winner agrees not to assert any moral rights against the Organizer and its sublicensees in connection with the use of the winning entry as described herein.
18. All submitted entries must be original works created entirely by the participant and must clearly and legibly display the BenQ IFA 2026 banner. Any entry that is deemed, at the Organizer’s sole discretion, dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, plagiarized, cruel, fraudulent, or that infringes upon the rights or intellectual property of any third party, will be immediately disqualified.
19. The use of artificial intelligence generation tools, software, or algorithms to create, alter, or enhance any part of the entry is strictly prohibited. The Organizer reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify any entry suspected of utilizing AI-generated content without prior notice.
20. If any submitted photos, videos, or stories feature or reference any other recognizable individuals, the participant must ensure that they have obtained explicit, prior consent from such individuals for their image, name, or likeness to be used and published by the Organizer for this promotion. The participant shall be solely liable for any claims arising from a breach of third-party privacy or publicity rights and shall indemnify the Organizer against any associated legal disputes.
21. The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any participant and cancel their prize without any liability if the participant fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, attempts to disrupt the operation of the event, or engages in any conduct that is deemed fraudulent, illegal, or detrimental to the reputation, image, or goodwill of the event, our brand, or product. Any attempts at manipulating or defrauding the draw, including but not limited to creating multiple accounts to gain additional entries, will also lead to disqualification from the promotion.
22. Any winner who rejects the prize or fails to respond to the winning notification by the specified deadline will be deemed to have forfeited their prize and waived any claim against the Organizer or its affiliates. The Organizer may select a new winner according to the criteria mentioned herein. The new winner will also have to respond within five (5) days or forfeit their prize in turn.
23. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the event if it cannot be operated as planned due to, including but not limited to, technical failures, fraud, or force majeure, or without cause. In such cases, the Organizer shall not be liable for awarding any prizes.
24. This promotion is run independently by the Organizer and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Any questions regarding the Promotion must be directed to the Organizer, not to the platform.
25. Participation in this promotion is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. This promotion will be operated on a third-party platform. Each participant shall be solely responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and deciding whether to accept the Terms and Conditions and privacy policy set forth by the respective third-party platform prior to participation. The Organizer makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation of such platform. The Organizer shall not be held responsible or liable for any technical issues, delays, interruptions, or any loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the use of, or inability to access, the third-party platform.
26. Except as set forth in these Terms and Conditions, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer hereby disclaims all express or implied warranties and representations and assumes no liability or responsibility for any cost, including but not limited to any additional costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize, damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of participating in this promotion or accepting the prize.
27. These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, and each participant submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands. Mandatory regulations of the country in which you are resident remain applicable.

1. Why We Need to Process Your Personal Data

• Winner Verification and Contact: To contact potential winners and verify their identity and eligibility via Instagram direct messages.
• Prize Delivery: To deliver the prize to the address provided by the winner.

In other situations, it may be necessary for us to process your personal data to comply with legal obligations imposed on us, to protect the vital interests of you or another natural person, or to perform a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us.

2. What Types of Personal Data We Process

We process the following personal information:

• Full name of the recipient;
• Email address for contact;
• Recipient’s address; and
• Recipient’s phone number.

The provision of personal data is required for the above purposes. If we cannot obtain your personal data from you, we may not be able to fulfil the purposes above.

We do not process any special categories of personal data. If we are required to do so, we will process such personal data in accordance with relevant regulations, including but not limited to Article 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

In any case where the image, likeness, name, or voice of any natural person appears in your work, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary legally required consent, release and discharge of liability, and license to use the data subject’s information. We reserve the right to ask you to demonstrate the legal basis for the processing.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

Your personal data will be kept with our campaign team. We do not store your personal data longer than 30 days following confirmed delivery, as recorded in our tracking system, unless a longer period is required to resolve a delivery-related dispute.

We transfer personal data to:

• BenQ Corporation in Taiwan for campaign management purposes and as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above.

We use a variety of legal mechanisms to help ensure that your rights and protections travel with your data, including implementing the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by relevant regulatory bodies.

Your personal data may be provided to:

• Our shipping or logistics provider.

This information is provided in order to fulfil the purposes described above. We enter into a processing agreement with companies processing your personal data on our behalf to ensure an equivalent level of security and confidentiality.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and undertake every effort to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, undesirable disclosure, and unauthorized modification as much as possible. We ensure that access to personal data is limited to those who are charged with the execution of the activities in the context of which the personal data have been or will be processed.

If we become aware of a breach of security resulting in adverse consequences for the protection of personal data, or a significant chance of such adverse consequences, we will notify the competent authority as soon as possible. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk of an adverse effect on you personally, we will notify you as well.
