EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS, 8 JUNE 2026 – BenQ, the internationally recognised provider of professional display solutions, is proud to announce that its Creative Pro PD2770U monitor has been named Best Professional Photo/Video Monitor at the TIPA World Awards 2026. The award is conferred by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) and is one of the most credible third-party endorsements in the imaging industry. This is the second time in three years that a BenQ professional monitor has taken top honour, following the SW272U’s recognition in 2024.
“Winning this recognition twice in three years reflects our ongoing commitment to professional creators across Europe. The PD2770U was built around the real workflows of designers, photographers, and video professionals – this award confirms we got that right,” commented Jay Wu, President at BenQ Europe B.V. The TIPA assessment described the PD2770U as a monitor that “redefines professional display performance through exceptional visual precision and thoughtful design,” noting ultra-high resolution, colour fidelity, and build quality as standout features. The association also pointed to the monitor’s ergonomic flexibility and connectivity as indicators of how well it fits into the reality of professional creative work. “By combining cutting-edge display engineering with user-centred innovation, BenQ demonstrates a commitment to empowering digital creators, designers, and professionals worldwide. This monitor stands as a benchmark for reliability and visual excellence, and sets the standard for future high-performance professional monitors,” commented TIPA.
A Professional Display Built for Colour Accuracy
At 27 inches and 4K resolution, the PD2770U covers Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 100% Rec. 709, making it equally at home in photographic retouching, print preparation, digital design, and video projection. Colour accuracy is rated at Delta E ≤ 1.5, which for professionals means what they see on screen is what they get in the final output.
Keeping that accuracy is where the PD2770U goes further than most. The built-in hardware calibrator automatically adjusts the display according to the ambient conditions of the workspace, doing away with external devices and manual routines altogether. For studios working with multiple BenQ monitors, BenQ’s Display Management Software (DMS) allows simultaneous calibration on a set schedule without manual intervention. On the hardware side, the Nano Matte Black Panel controls reflections and diffuses ambient light without degrading image quality, and the new magnetic shading hood blocks out light from above and sides.
Ergonomics for Sustained Focus
To meet the practical needs of long working sessions, the monitor’s ergonomic stand supports tilt, swivel, height, and pivot adjustment, and the Wireless Hotkey Puck G3 provides assignable shortcuts for switching between colour modes and display settings, removing the need to go through menus. The PD2770U is also compatible with BenQ’s suite of professional software tools, including AQCOLOR Pilot for colour management and Display Pilot 2 for display settings control, both available at no additional cost.
The model also accommodates all-in-one USB-C connectivity with Thunderbolt 3 and 4, letting only one cable carry 96W power and transfer all forms of content from any laptop devices, including Mac, to the monitor. In addition, the RJ45 wired connection improves studio efficiency, allowing multiple BenQ monitors to be networked together and auto-calibrated simultaneously.
The PD2770U is one of several monitors in BenQ’s Creative Pro lineup, covering different sizes and specifications while keeping the same standards for colour performance.
The BenQ PD2770U is available now at a suggested retail price of €1,713.15. Find out more information about the monitor here.
