This is normal behavior and is related to the built-in OLED burn-in protection mechanism (Pixel Shift) on BenQ monitors.
Pixel Shift subtly moves the image position over time to reduce the risk of image retention caused by static content. As a result, the edges of the screen (such as the left and right black borders) may appear slightly different in width at times. This is an intentional design behavior and not a panel defect.
This mechanism helps extend panel lifespan while maintaining consistent image quality during long-term use.
