The AK800ST and AK900ST projectors feature upgraded geometry settings, allowing you to manually correct image distortion to fit curved screens perfectly.
The system provides a maximum grid of 8x16 control points for precision warping. You can adjust the number of control points at any time during the setup process while retaining the current settings.
Follow these steps to configure your geometry:
1. Prepare the Projector: Turn on the projector and ensure the image covers the entire screen, extending slightly beyond the edges.
2. Access Geometry Settings: Navigate to Menu > Installation > Geometry.
3. View Configuration: The screen will display your current control point configuration.
4. Align Corners: Start with the default 2x2 setting to align the four corners of the image with the corners of the screen.
5. Adjust Grid Density: Press the Menu key to modify the control point settings. Increase the grid density as needed, then select "Apply Grid Number Change" to save your settings.
6. Refine the Center: For basic adjustments, we recommend increasing the column count to 3 (2x3). Select Apply, then adjust the center control points to align the middle of the screen.
7. Fine-Tune: Open the menu again and increase the column count to 5 (2x5). Follow the same process to align each control point with the screen. Continue adding control points if further precision is required.
8. Complete Setup: Once you are satisfied with the alignment, press the Back key to exit.
