When using the 360-degree installation method, the BenQ Ergo Arm can rotate a full 360 degrees. However, if there is a wall behind the desk, the BenQ Ergo Arm may hit the wall

Therefore, if you do not want the BenQ Ergo Arm to bump into the wall, please use the 180-degree installation method. On the other hand, if you are using a grommet mounting, the 180-degree rotation stopper will prevent the Arm from moving backward, which can take up space. If there is no wall behind, you may consider using the 360-degree option.
