Since the color profiles of a MacBook Pro are recognized as a standard among Mac users, BenQ has developed a new M-Book mode to simulate the color specs of MacBook Pro on our monitors. Switch to M-Book Mode to make your BenQ monitor emulate a MacBook Pro.
Turn off the Dynamic Function in macOS
1. Go to System Settings > Displays
2. Select Built-in Display
3. Turn off Automatically adjust brightness and True Tone
4. Preset is set to Apple Display (P3-500 nits)
5. Turn off Night Shift
Check Display Pilot 2 Settings
1. Open the Display Pilot 2 main interface
2. Color Mode is set to M-Book, and iDevice Color Sync is enabled.
3. Color Match Target set to "MacBook" & device option is set to "Auto (your
device model)"
4. Turn off B.I.+ Gen2
5. Turn off Low Blue Light > Level is set to 0 > Circadian Mode is set to OFF
Check Monitor Settings in macOS
1. System Settings > Displays
2. Select your BenQ monitor model
3. Check the Color Profile and ensure it displays BenQ monitor model
(xxxxxxxx).icc
4. Turn off HDR and Night Shift
