The power adapter gets hot in use. Is it safe?

It is safe. The power adapter is in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

It is normal phenomenon for a power adapter to get a bit hot when connected to the projector and while in use. 

We suggest placing the power adapter in a well-ventilated location.
