Palette Master Element
Software
End of Support Announcement
Due to technical limitations, Palette Master Element (PME) software will no longer be compatible with newer operating systems on specific monitor models (SW2700PT, SW271, SW320).
You may continue using the current version of the software, or consider upgrading to a model that supports Palette Master Ultimate (PMU) for an enhanced calibration experience.
Limitation:
(1) Mac Mini and Mac devices with M1/M2 chip cannot sync with the monitor when
using HDMI Port. We recommend connecting the monitor via Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C)
cable or USB-C to DisplayPort cable.
(2) Mac devices with M1/M2 chip can't recognize two individual monitors with the same
model name, as it will lead to the mismatch error on the PME. We suggest to disconnect the second monitor and calibrate one monitor at one time.
Software version:
Windows: V1.3.21
macOS: V1.3.21
Windows 10 and 11:
The final tested and verified version is Windows 11 (22H2)
macOS 10/11/12/13/14 *Intel and Apple Silicon base (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M2, M3)
The final tested and verified version is macOS Sequoia v15.1
*Please note: These OS versions are the final ones tested by BenQ; no further compatibility tests or software updates will be provided for future OS releases.
Therefore, we recommend users operate within these verified environments for the best user experience.
