    Yes, iScreenBar™ uses ASYM-Light™ asymmetric optics to light the desk without shining directly on the screen, helping reduce screen glare while preserving accurate color viewing.

  • 2. Can iScreenBar™ work with Apple Studio Displays®?

    No. iScreenBar™ is a monitor light bar designed specifically for iMac and does not support Apple Studio Displays. It uses a magnetic attachment that securely mounts to the back of the iMac without affecting its hardware, so it is not suitable for other monitors. For non-iMac setups, please visit the ScreenBar® series page to explore compatible models.

  • 3. Which iMac models are compatible with iScreenBar™?

    iScreenBar™ is compatible with iMac 2021 and later models. Earlier iMac models are not supported. You can check your iMac model on Apple’s website: https://support.apple.com/en-us/108054

  • 4. Can I control iScreenBar™ with a macOS app or HomeKit?

    Yes, iScreenBar™ supports macOS app control for easier lighting adjustment and a more seamless iMac workflow. It is also designed to keep the camera and microphone unobstructed, while supporting auto-dimming and auto on/off. However, iScreenBar™ does not support HomeKit.

  • 5. Can iScreenBar™ be powered through the iMac’s USB-C port?

    Yes, iScreenBar™ can be powered through the iMac’s USB-C port. This enables synchronization features such as lighting control via macOS app and automatic camera mode activation. If a power adapter is used instead, these synchronization features will be disabled.
