EH620 Makes Corporate Conferencing Easy with Seamless OS Adaption and Total Security

BICESTER, UNITED KINGDOM, 12th SEPTEMBER 2022 – BenQ, the internationally renowned innovator of visual solutions, has launched the EH620 smart projector for business. This innovation integrates a full Windows operating system and is embedded with an Intel® Celeron® Processor 4000 Series in order to streamline corporate cloud-based meetings for the hybrid workplace.

As an all-in-one smart projector with built-in Windows computing capabilities and operating system, the EH620 quickly adapts to Windows-based workplaces, providing the same security, control, and access protocols as company laptops or PCs. Without the need of connecting an external PC, the EH620 can provide the full set of Windows business software, from Office 365 to Adobe Document Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Zoom, and other conferencing apps. It delivers highly efficient productivity and total security.

“We developed the EH620, the world’s first Windows-based smart projector, to fulfil today’s needs for cloud conferencing,” says Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation. “Professionals and teams need integrated operational capabilities, software, and data storage facilities, and at the same time increase meeting efficiency, wireless security, and compatibility with existing equipment. As companies once again opt for in-person and hybrid meetings, EH620’s system architecture provides an effective defence against data breaches resulting from cyber attacks on unsecured devices.”

Integrating into cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure, the EH620 is equipped for corporate identity and sign-in protocols including individual and guest sign-ins, multilevel authentication, and conditional access. Its reinforced network security is imbedded with AES 128-bit encryption and WPA2 wireless protection to guard against most cyber security attacks, as well as Intel Secure Boot to guard against malware.

In addition, BenQ’s EH620 is certified by the Onward Security Corporation, passing the Black Box Test security assessment with no vulnerabilities found in its operating system, network services, wireless protocols, password management, denial of service, and hardware - an assessment that guarantees the total security of this new smart projector.

The latest Intel® Celeron® Processor 4000 Series CPU, has been fully integrated into EH620’s applications and security systems by BenQ’s R&D and Intel teams. Users can simply log on to a network account directly from EH620 to instantly start cloud-based meetings and videoconferences on a Full HD 1080p 150” big screen. EH620 can download business applications from the Microsoft Store and host any Windows software including web browsers and conferencing apps for unlimited and sophisticated collaboration scenarios.

In addition, to facilitate the onboarding of Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, EH620 provides the intuitive BenQ Uni Launcher UI for users to choose their preferred interface. For iOS, Mac OS, and Android collaborators, EH620’s driver-free wireless projection compatibilities include Miracast, Airplay, Google Cast, and BenQ InstaShare screen mirroring with 4-way split-screen projection.

Ideal for easy system integration with Windows-based ecosystems alongside related devices such as tablets or interactive boards and various smart cameras, EH620 simplifies conferencing setups with auto keystone, auto picture mode, and auto sound mode through its potent 5Wx2 audio system. IT management is also simplified with automatic OTA firmware self-updates and full compatibility with control systems including Extron, Creston, AMX, and PJ Link.
