Is there any limitation on the external hard drive supported for the ST430K/ST550K/ST650K?
There is no limitation on the external HDD supported, however, it is highly recommended to purchase HDD with power cord or plug in USB cable to USB 3.0 port to ensure there is sufficient power supply.
My device is connected with a DVD player through HDMI cable, why can't I choose "PC mode" under ZOOM in setting?
Please check if the signal source is 1080i (interlace) instead of 1080p (progressive). PC Mode is disabled (not supported) if the input signal source is 1080i.

When importing the device to EasySetting, it requires to confirm the MAC address of the device.
That means the unit has to use the RJ45 cable to connect to the internet in order to have the correct MAC address.
If the unit is using WiFi connection, it will not be able to import.
