Import/Export Compliance

Products and services offered by or received from BenQ Corporation, including its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “BenQ Products and Services”) might be subject to the export control and economic sanctions laws of Taiwan, China (including Hong Kong), the European Union, Japan, the United States of America, and in other countries/regions where BenQ operates, conducts business and is obliged to adhere to the import/export control regulations of such countries/regions (“Applicable Regulations”).

BenQ Products and Services, in their original form or incorporated into another article, shall not be directly or indirectly used, sold, leased, exported, imported, re-exported, or transferred in or to the following countries and regions: Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Congo, Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, and/or any other countries/regions subject to sanction or embargo regimes as administered by the Applicable Regulations.

Nor should BenQ Products and Services be made available to any restricted party with whom the transactions are prohibited under the Applicable Regulations, including but not limited to European Union Sanctions List, U.S. Specially Designated National (SDN) lists, U.S. Denied Persons List.

Additionally, BenQ Products and Services may not be used for any purpose prohibited by the Applicable Regulations, such as military end-uses that may implicate an arms embargo or similar restriction, nuclear end-uses, or end-uses relating to the development, design, manufacture or production of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons (“Weapons of Mass Destruction”), or in any facilities that are engaged in activities related to such weapons or their delivery systems.

Transactions with or related to certain destinations or end-users/uses that pose an export control or sanctions risk for BenQ are subject to enhanced due diligence requirements. Clients are responsible for their compliance with the Applicable Regulations and shall impose equivalent restrictions to ensure the above undertakings.
