The BenQ Ergo Arm is pre-adjusted with optimal tension at the factory to ensure proper functionality when used with BenQ monitors, preventing any upward or downward tilting issues.
If you encounter this situation, it indicates that the tension of the tilting hinge does not match the weight of your monitor. This may happen if your non-BenQ monitor is significantly lighter or heavier (the BenQ Ergo Arm supports monitors 2 kg to 20 kg). To adjust it, use the hex wrench included in the product box to tighten the tension of the tilting hinge at the back of the monitor's VESA mount.
If your monitor slightly tilts upward or downward, turn the adjustment towards the “+” direction to increase the tension.
If your monitor is difficult to be tilted, turn the adjustment towards the “-” direction to decrease the tension.
